Call for Nominations: BAG Distinguished Professorial Chair in Linguistics and Language Education 2025

The Linguistic Society of the Philippines is now accepting nominations for the prestigious Brother Andrew Gonzales Distinguished Professorial Chair in Linguistics and Language Education for the year 2025. This esteemed chair recognizes outstanding scholars in the fields of linguistics and language education, honoring the legacy of Brother Andrew Gonzales, a renowned linguist and former Secretary of Education in the Philippines.

Nominations are open to distinguished academics who have made significant contributions to the field and are capable of promoting linguistic research and education in the Philippines and beyond. The recipient of this chair will be invited to deliver a series of public lectures and will be engaged in high-level scholarly activities during their term.
