MEMBERSHIP STEPS
NEW MEMBERSHIP AND RENEWAL
STEP 1. IDENTIFY MEMBERSHIP TYPE
Know your desired membership type and the corresponding membership fee.
Regular
Individual membership as a non-student member
₱1000 per year (₱1070 if by PayPal)
Student
Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program
₱700 per year (₱749 if by PayPal)
Lifetime
Individual one-time payment
₱8000 (₱8560 if by PayPal)
Institutional
Five (5) individuals affiliated with an institution involved in language research
₱4000 per year (₱4280 if by PayPal)
INSTITUTIONAL SCHEME
The Institutional Scheme is a unique membership arrangement that enables an institution to qualify for Institutional Membership while granting Regular Membership status to exactly five (5) of its members under the “Institutional Scheme.”

To avail of this scheme, the institution must make a single FULL payment for the institutional membership fee. The same receipt must then be uploaded by each of the five members in their individual membership forms. Upon approval, the institution becomes eligible for Institutional Membership and receives an institutional certificate, while the five listed individuals are processed as Regular Members under the “Institutional Scheme” and receive individual membership certificates.
STEP 2. PAYMENT
Note that we will only process your membership only after receiving the receipt, and after checking whether the details are correct. Choose one of the following options:

Wire your payment to any Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) physical branch.

Digitally deposit/transfer your payment to Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) branch via an online banking platform (e.g., app, website).

Option 4: GCash
How to pay LSP fees through GCash?

On the main menu go to Transfer.

Pay at any of our conferences (e.g., LSPIC).

STEP 3. PROOF OF PAYMENT
Provide a valid proof of payment. This will be required in the next step.

For PayPal, online bank transfer/deposit, and GCash, take a screenshot of the confirmation. Make sure that the confirmation contains your name and has information requested in the online application (e.g., time, date, reference number). We will not process applications with Pending status.

For bank deposit, take note of the transaction reference number of your deposit slip (see sample receipt below).

For onsite payment, please take a clear photo or scan of the receipt.
STEP 4. ONLINE APPLICATION
Fill out the online registration form. Members hoping to renew their membership should also fill out this form. You should receive a summary of your submitted details shortly after completing the form below.

NOTE: For Institutional Membership, a single receipt showing the FULL payment for the institutional membership fee must be uploaded by all five members in their individual forms. Each of the five members must submit the form and upload the same receipt for the membership to be processed under the institutional scheme.

Please note that members whose submissions include this shared institutional receipt will be processed as Regular Members under the “Institutional Scheme” (see above)

Institutional membership certificates will be processed once the individual application with the correct institutional receipt has been approved.

STEP 5. CONFIRMATION
Wait for the confirmation e-mail and the membership package, which will contain: (1) an e-certificate, (2) LSP Official digital ID, and (3) provisional receipt signed by the Treasurer. It will be sent by the LSP Secretariat within 3 to 5 working days. If you need an official receipt, please email the Treasurer (details in the welcome email).
