Celebrating the Success of LSPIC 2026

The Linguistic Society of the Philippines (LSP) proudly celebrates the successful conclusion of the 8th Linguistic Society of the Philippines International Conference (LSPIC 2026), held from April 23–25, 2026, at West Visayas State University in Iloilo City, Philippines.

With the theme “Charting Future-Proof Paths in Linguistics and Language Education,” LSPIC 2026 brought together linguists, educators, researchers, students, and language practitioners from across the globe for three days of meaningful dialogue, research exchange, and academic collaboration.

The conference featured engaging presentations and discussions on multilingualism, language policy, sociolinguistics, corpus linguistics, digital learning innovations, and emerging directions in language education and linguistic research. Participants explored forward-thinking ideas and shared valuable insights that continue to shape the future of linguistics in an increasingly interconnected and technology-driven world.

The LSP extends its heartfelt gratitude to all keynote speakers, presenters, participants, partner institutions, organizers, volunteers, and sponsors whose invaluable contributions made LSPIC 2026 a resounding success.
