The Linguistic Society of the Philippines has announced that the featured speaker for 2023 The DANILO T. DAYAG Memorial Lecture is Dr. Hazel Jean M. Abejuela of Bukidnon State University. To commemorate the event, Dr. Abejuela will give the lecture "A PRAGMATIC STUDY ON SPEECH ACTS
IN BUKIDNON RITUALS" on March 17, 2023 (1000-1200) at Room A1403, Br. Andrew Gonzalez, FSC Hall, De La Salle University, Manila.
