8th LSPIC 2026 to be held @ Iloilo

The Linguistic Society of the Philippines (LSP) proudly announces the 8th Linguistic Society of the Philippines International Conference (LSPIC 2026), which will take place from April 23 to 25, 2026, at West Visayas State University in Iloilo City, Philippines. This major international conference brings together linguists, educators, researchers, and practitioners from around the world to explore innovative and future-ready directions in the fields of linguistics and language education.

With the theme “Charting Future-Proof Paths in Linguistics and Language Education,” LSPIC 2026 aims to address the challenges and opportunities posed by an increasingly multilingual and technologically driven world. The conference will highlight cutting-edge research, emerging frameworks, and innovative pedagogical approaches that shape the future of language studies and teaching practices. Participants will engage in meaningful discussions on topics such as language policy, multilingualism, digital learning tools, sociolinguistics, corpus linguistics, and other evolving areas of inquiry.
