LSP and PUP sign MOU for future joint language research and training endeavors

In its commitment to advance the scientific study of languages in the Philippines, the Linguistic Society of the Philippines (LSP) assists various academic institutions in the country in their own efforts to study and preserve languages. The Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) is one such institution. On June 5, 2024, at PUP’s Mateo Conference Hall, LSP and PUP signed a Memorandum of Understanding as the initial commitment to pursue collaborative research projects in the coming years.

Gapasin, PUP Vice-President for Research, Extension, and Planning; Dr. Rachelle Ballesteros-Lintao, LSP President; Ms. Ryn Jean Fe V. Gonzales, LSP Director of Research and Special Projects, and Mr. Vincent Christopher A. Santiago, LSP Director of Training.
