SEC Document Request Process

To request copies of the Linguistic Society of the Philippines (LSP) Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registration documents, including the SEC Certificate of Incorporation (COI), please follow these steps carefully:

Step 1: Prepare Your Request

​

Requests, following the template below, must be sent either:

1. via email to linguisticsocietyphil@gmail.com; OR

2. through the Contact Us form on the official LSP website.

​

Your request email or form submission must clearly include:

• Your full name (official)

• Your institution or organization (if applicable)

• Your email address

• Mention of SEC document being requested

• The purpose of the request

 

Please ensure that the stated purpose is complete, specific, appropriate, and legitimate.

Your request MUST also include the complete agreement statement below exactly as written:

​

“By requesting and receiving copies of the Linguistic Society of the Philippines (LSP) Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registration documents, including the SEC Certificate of Incorporation (COI), I agree to use these documents solely for the purpose indicated in my request form.

​

I further agree not to reproduce, distribute, share, publish, upload, alter, manipulate, falsify, or use the documents for any unauthorized, misleading, commercial, or unlawful purpose. I understand that the documents must be handled with due care and confidentiality and may not be transferred to third parties without prior authorization from the Society.

​

I understand that any unauthorized alteration, manipulation, falsification, or misuse of the documents may result in the matter being formally reported to the appropriate authorities and/or relevant institutions for proper investigation and action. I also understand that the LSP reserves the right to deny future requests and take any other appropriate measures deemed necessary to protect the Society and its official records.”

Step 2: Verification

 

The Secretariat will review the request and verify:

• Whether the request includes a valid and reasonable purpose

• Whether the complete agreement statement is included exactly as required

• Whether the request appears legitimate and appropriate

 

We will check the completeness and validity of the submission.

Step 3: Approval and Release of Documents

If the request satisfies all requirements, the requested SEC document(s) will be attached to the approval email.​ The approval email will also include the conditions and reminders regarding the proper use and handling of the released documents.
