MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

The Linguistics Society of the Philippines (LSP) is the oldest and most prestigious linguistics organization in the Philippines. We invite individuals and groups involved in Philippine linguistics to seek membership in support of the organization to continue fulfilling its goals to serve Filipino society through scholarship, protection, and promotion of its more than a hundred languages. The following are benefits of being an LSP member:

  • Present papers at annual conferences of the Society upon approval of the program committee

  • Access to the Philippine Journal of Linguistics (PJL)

  • Elect and be elected as a Board Member

  • Regularly receive information on professorial chair lectures, special events, seminars, and other activities of the Society

  • Receive a digital identification card, provisional receipt, and digital certificate of membership

 

LSP dues are not just payment for services rendered. Membership in LSP expresses support for the association's ongoing mission and activities. A member-supported organization is the key to long-term financial stability for LSP.
