How do I become a member or renew my membership?

 

Please follow the steps below:

STEP 1. Identify type of membership (and payment amount)

What kind of member do you want to be?

Institutional

Php 4000 per year (Php 800 per person)

At least five faculty members; affiliated with an institution involved in language research

Student

Php 700 per year

Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program

Lifetime

Php 8000 (one time payment)

Regular

Php 1000 per year

STEP 2. Payment

Choose one of the following options:

1. PayPal (Please via Desktop browser. PayPal doesn't work well via mobile.)

2. Bank deposit. Wire your payment to any Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) branch.

3. Electronic Wire/Funds Transfer. Wire your payment to any Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) branch.

4. Gcash

How to pay LSP fees through Gcash?  

 

1. Select 'Send Money' then 'Send Money to Bank' or 'Bank Transfer. '

2. Select BPI and input the required details needed to process your transaction (i.e. amount, name [LSP, INC], account number [8351001845], etc.).

3. On the Confirmation page, confirm the amount you wish to send.

5. Pay on-site at any of our conferences.

 

Note that we will only process your membership only after receiving the receipt.

STEP 3. Acquire Proof of Payment

Scan or take a clear picture of the deposit slip/receipt/proof of payment.

  • For those who did the bank deposit, take note of the transaction reference number of your deposit slip (see sample below).

  • For those who chose to pay via PayPal or (online) bank transfer, please take a screenshot of the confirmation. Make sure that the confirmation contains your name and has information requested in the online application (e.g., Time, date).  We will not process applications with "Pending" confirmation.

  • For on-site payment, please take a clear photo of the receipt. You may also choose to scan this. 

Have your proof of payment ready. This will be required for the next step.

 

STEP 4. Online Application

Fill out the online registration form. Members hoping to renew their membership should also fill out this form. You should receive a summary of your submitted details shortly after completing this form.

NOTE: For Institutional membership, each of the five members of group must fill out the form. Otherwise, your memberships will not be processed.

STEP 5.

Wait for the confirmation e-mail and the membership e-certificate. It will be sent by the LSP Secretariat within 5-10 working days. Track your application status via MTS. Visit MTS by clicking the icon below.
